The bison is the largest mammal in North America, and this one here is especially beautiful. It confidently rests its four legs on the lush grassland and enjoys grazing. Suddenly, it jerks its head up. Did it hear something? The bison turns its large head to one side and gazes at the wide plain. Nothing can be seen. It continues grazing peacefully. This colossus is very peaceful, but when it has no other choice, it bravely defends itself and its herd. Something no one would expect from it is that it can run very fast. Up to 56 km/h! Once it has picked up speed, it launches itself unstoppably at its enemy, like a huge avalanche. Fortunately, this only happens in emergency situations.
