There are lots of ways that both adults and children alike can use their Toniebox to adjust and tailor their listening experience, and we've learned from our conversations with our customers that lots of you aren't aware of these handy hacks!
What are Tonies?
If you aren't familiar with Tonies, Tonieboxes offer a screen-free, portable way to go on an adventure with your favourite characters and are brilliant for car journeys, bedtimes or just some afternoon wind-down time. They are a great alternative to enjoying a story without you, or your child, having to read (we know its not everyone's thing!). Browse our Tonies collection here.
Without further ado, here are 6 ways that you can get the most out of your Toniebox!
1: Stock It!

2: Tilt It
Tilt the box to fast forward (right) and rewind (left) to your desired position. The Toniebox is designed to be held and manipulated by kids and adults alike.
3: Tap It
Tap the box (with gusto!) on the left and right sides to go back and forward by whole chapters. Handy if you're heading to bed, give it a good few thumps to start the Tonie a bit closer to the end...
4: Connect It
But just at the start! Whenever you get a new Tonie, you need to use it first when the box is connected to Wi-Fi to download the content to the box. After that, the Tonie will play anywhere, no connection needed, making it ideal for travelling!
5: Create It
Have you tried making your own Tonie? Creative Tonies can hold up to 90 minutes of content! It is really easy to do, just record, upload and sync! A great idea to ask Granny or Grandad to give as a gift - two precious things in one: their voice and their time!
6: Move It
Once the battery is fully charged, you will get 7 hours playing time out of the box (depending on volume!) ideal for taking it on the move. Squeeze the Toniebox ears to toggle the volume up or down.
